Submitting Pages / Collections for assessment

What do I need to know?

You can submit Pages or Collections for assessment and is usually used by tutors to mark your work and write feedback.

You’ll need to:

  • Submit a Page or a Collection to a Group.
  • Be a member of the Group you need to submit to.
  • Be the author of the page or Collection.
  • And the group needs to have been set up for ‘Allows submissions.’

When you submit pages:

  • They are locked and you can no longer edit the pages or files in them.
  • A page is un-locked when the tutor completes placing feedback and releases it.
  • You can only submit a Page or Collection to one group at a time.
  • The page can only be seen by the tutor (other members of the group do not see it).

Recommendation: If you still need to work on a page after it has been submitted, you should make a copy of it and submit the copy.
