My role is to to provide research, guidance and support with the use and implementation of technology in teaching and research.

My background is in the creative arts, education and technology and I would see myself as a creative technologist.

I consult with academics and course teams on embedding technology enhanced learning into their teaching. I provide one-to-one support, guidance and advice on using studentcentral (Blackboard VLE) and the adoption of other other technologies that support teaching and research, from e-submission to mobile technologies and more. I also deliver two online modules on master courses, utilising a range of online technologies to support the delivery of these modules.

Design and deliver and manage a program of workshops and providers to support admin and academic use of technology and information

Support all staff in their use of technology and IT, including Moodle, Office Suite, Creative Suite, SmartBoards and other Smart Technologies, Media (Video, Audio)

Managing a team of developers and designers, developing innovative solutions for a new market leader in the property acquisition market

Working with clients to provide a solution for their online presence, from the purchase of domain name through to the setting up of servers and designing and building their online solution Designing and delivering a number of new media courses for both Lighthouse.org and silicon beach training
